Three Things I'm Loving This Week

Updated: Apr 15, 2018

I felt like I’d really got into the swing of these wintery weeks, and then we had one sunny day this post Easter week with ever so slightly longer evenings.

What have I been loving this week? Apart from spring flowers and sunshine, here’s what’s made me happy this week…

The New Yorker Postcards – I thought a few would make a really nice gallery in my soon to be decorated cloakroom. I had been looking for some artwork or picture to remind me of my visit to New York last year.

I came across these postcards which are a wonderful selection of postcard sized covers from this historic publication dating from 1925.

With 100 to choose from, choosing several will take some consideration!

Spring blooms – It has been so uplifting to go outside without layers of clothes and take a peep at what’s happening in the garden.

New shoots are appearing as if by magic, and daffodils are a picture just now. Hellebores are fading but tulips are having a growth spurt, and clematis armandii will be in flower in a few days. I'll be posting about April in the Garden quite soon.

Sewing cushions – well, I have made a toy box cushion for my Grandson and have promised to make matching cushion covers for the sofa in his living room……. work in progress!

What have you been loving this week?
